In SA, you will have the likes of the PIC going “we allocate to listed for risk purposes” BUT this listed has destroyed USD30bn of money that belongs to the nurse/teacher in the village/township (ie ZAR600bn before you input an IRR)…while the various middlemen are living up first-world upper middle class lifestyles…just criminal stuff…and what is that money doing to better the lives of the owners of that capital?
